Price differences online from in cafe

My complaint is that I was charged $10.49 for what is advertised online as costing $8.99. I submitted my complaint with a telephone call last Friday to the complaint line, but have heard nothing from anyone addressing the price discrepancy. An employee on-site explained over the phone that the location was a franchise and charged different prices from a regular El Pollo Loco. That makes no sense. User's recommendation: Purchase from another location.
