Praise installer
2
Had 2 failed installations by the original installer and his brother. A year later the new installer Jeb did a very good job. The company was very responsive and easy to work with. The first install the drain pan drained in the wrong direction. The same installer came back and redid the job poorly, made a big mess and scratched the floor. Just poor workmanship all around (he was not paid for the redo). I just wanted him gone. 8 - 9 months later the panels started coming off the walls, I called the office and as soon as possible they sent out Jeb by himself, and he tore out the drywall and started from scratch correcting the poor overall workmanship and installing the panel correctly. Good company response, very good installer. I had 35 yrs. as a general contractor so maybe I saw what others don't. But everyone should know level, plumb and square. User's recommendation: Don't settle with "that's how we always do it". Try to verify the installer's abilities if possible - don't believe just what the salesperson says. If you don't know what is really acceptable get someone knowledgeable to verify the work. These jobs are expensive and it would be worth paying someone a few dollars to have it done right. mbermber the building code is only the bare minimum.I don't know how but know checkout the installer as well as the company. Just because the guy had done 100's of installs doesn't neccasarily.
