Poor Quality Vehicle

I bid on, and purchased a vintage motorcycle recently. Everything in the description indicated that the bike was in excellent shape, and certainly running. Well, upon delivery, the bike would not only not start, but I noticed many things wrong, or not operating. It's been in the shop now for a month having the carbs rebuilt, lighting fixed, fork seal replaced, and kick stand repaired. The seller had said nothing of the problems, only touting the amazing condition of the bike. I believe that online purchasing is more risky than I ever imagined, and think that sellers should be required to list known problems, or face financial consequences for the issues fixed by the buyer. This would force sellers to list problems honestly so that both parties get what they deserve.
