Original review posted by user Oct 16, 2018 I purchased a package of Dorman Quick Connectors, 18-22 gauge, female, 0.250 and found they are not good at all. Even though I crimped the first one very good---on 18 gauge stranded copper wire--and in two places, the connector could be pulled off fairly easily. So I tried a second one and got the same results. I tried a third time and got similar results. This time, I took the time to get some vise grip pliers and then used them to crimp the third one and finally, I got a good crimp! This was a waste of my time. It's very important to have good electrical connections so you don't have problems later. I called Dorman about the issue and the man I spoke to didn't seem concerned at all about the issue and suggested that I try returning the connectors, which I did. I normally think of Dorman as providing quality parts but not now.
