I used to buy all of my meat from Giant Eagle in the past year I have noticed the grind of the ground beef was different, since then we have found pieces of bone,big hunks of fat and we're pretty sure even a piece of cow hide. It's so gross I stopped buying beef from them. I called Customer service in PA and spoke with a lady that agreed with me the quality was bad and she didn't even buy it there any longer. I still shop for some things at the Amherst store but I would never buy any beef there again. When I was in there the other day I see it is still on the shelves in the same big grind that I was grossed out about. I have spent so much money at that store but am seriously thinking of not buying anything there any longer, so disappointed that GE would still continue to sell this poor quality product. I even tried to discourage people buying it to go to a local butcher to get beef since GE's is so scary.
