2011 Ram 1500 recall U04 gas tank straps and brackets. Took truck to have recall performed. matthews of great bend PA dealership says the gas tank filler tube will break if they do the recall. then say it will cost me 300 dollars is they do it. How does performing a recall cost me money????? the recall is for a rusty bracket in order to replace you break a rusty tube.. SOUNDS LIKE THE WHOLE DAMN TRUCK SHOULD BE A RECALL. 9 years old neither of these parts should be replaced. This is my 2nd dealings with your *** poor customer service. first one cost me 3000.00 for faulty cam and lifters. took me a while but i finally got in touch with someone who had some knowledge dealing with customers. I am not paying anything for this recall!!!!!!!! I would like to be contacted by the highest person in your company ASAP. 607-765-****. I do not want some rookie calling wasting my time.
