Poor Customer Service/Cannot Follow Simple DIrections

Update by user Sep 04, 2020 I have heard NOTHING from E-Trailer. There have been no attempts by them to resolve this ongoing issue. Original review posted by user Aug 05, 2020 Over the past several years I have purchased from these buffoons quite a few Optronics 3/4" round LED marker lights that have a lifetime warranty from both the manufacturer AND e-trailer. They burn out frequently so I have had numerous interactions with e-trailer to have them replaced under the warranty. They are unusually slow in processing returns-under-warranty and display an uncaring attitude with customers. Case in point is my most recent interaction with them. I informed them I needed a warranty return authorization to replace one of the aforementioned lights AND because they are painfully slow in processing and sending out replacement lights I concurrently placed an order for a substantial number of more of these lights to keep on hand so the next time one of these lights burn out I can replace it while I WAIT FOREVER for the warranty replacement to arrive. My vehicle was due to inspection and would not pass with a burned-out light. I specifically told them I wanted the light replaced. After taking over a week to process the return after my tracking showed that they received it, I received an email telling me that I had been refunded the price of the returned light. That was not what I asked for;I wanted the light replaced under warranty. I sent an email telling them this and received a curt reply telling me I would have to purchase another light. I then called Noah, the customer service peon I had been dealing with and was forced to leave a message because out of the 6 times I called, he never answered his phone, nor did he return the recorded messages that I left. During my time in dealing with these boneheads they have consistently been oblivious to good customer service practices and basically have done whatever they wanted to do. They are not polite nor respectful when interacting with customers who have issues with their service/products and display an uncaring attitude. They further insulate themselves by refusing to speak directly with customers who take the time to wait on the phone for long periods of time to try and speak with them about issues and, if they do respond at all to emails, they are curt, ignorant and do not accurately address the information that has been included in the customer's email to them. I have had better luck, responses, and customer service from Chinese vendors that I have purchased items from that then have issues. E-Trailer is a US-based company located in the Heartland of the USA, and they couldn't care less about anything but the Dollar. I have been prompted by them to leave reviews about how they can improve their customer service but not surprisingly, none of these reviews about their products OR their customer service, have ever been posted on their website. User's recommendation: DON'T BUY FROM THESE CHARLATANS!!!
