Within 2 years of buying a new RPS, we were disappointed to discover that SOME metal components (chains, bolts, mounting rings, etc.) started rusting while other identical metal parts didn't. Different suppliers?? In addition, nearly all the yellow vinyl covering on rungs, chains, etc. began to turn black with some sort of mold. Power washing and scrubbing didn't help much. And some of these yellow vinyl coverings became sticky, as well. I couldn't seem to remedy this problem, only slow it down a bit. Dealer debated the warranty with me, implying that we had not maintained the playset which voided the warranty. It wasn't even 2 years old. Had to fight with him just to get a replacement swing because of the black mold on the yellow vinyl covered chains. Very painful. User's recommendation: Do not buy a Rainbow Play Set!
