Physical damage to main service line to house; needs replacement
Tree falling in windstorm tore out wire connection between main phone service line in alley and house. Need replacement. After repeated attempts I was unable to contact CenturyLink repair. On Internet, response was that they did not serve my area and hence could not help although I have had their service for many years. Repeated attempt but ran into dead end after dead end. Then tried contacting with phone and encountered 30 minute holds with no response. Finally a response from someone talking on a phone that was scrambled, unintelligible. Gave up after over two hours trying User's recommendation: service has been OK but customer service is non-existant.
