Update by user Apr 26, 2012 My perception of Dr. Ruiz is misinterpreted. All the billing issues were remedied beforehand, and done so in professional manner. In fact, I apologize for any complaints posted any where. I must admit, she was gentle and professional with my son’s treatments. I withdraw any negative reviews. However, we got stuck with the bill, because they said no xrays were done. "Well, get the xrays done," I said. Guess what to late, I had to pay $1000+ out of pocket. Common profession courtesy would be to inform a patient that your insurance will not cover something before proceeding. Not even that was done, which led me to believe, it was all done purposely. Typical Miami behavior - finding a way getting over people. However, since most people here do not complain like New Yorkers, which I happen to be one, I said, let me use the internet to warn anyone that is going to Petit Smile with Doctor Carla Ruiz Vanessa. The sadest part of the whole thing. I took my three kids. Two my kids had the insurance pay for their cleaning - you will figure after bringing three kids that maybe a slight break will be given. Guess what, we were charged the full amount.
