I have closed my credit card with Mashreq and got a clearance letter from the bank when I resigned and canceled my UAE residency visa in 2017. I was advised by bank personnel who closed my credit card to keep the Mashreq account open as it will be free of any charges for life. I have just checked this account and saw I am in debt even though I have not used it in 2 years. I would like to close it immediately. Account number is [protected].
