Perfect Moves- Not so Perfect!

NO STARS- The owner is a really horrible person. The movers arrived just as they were supposed to and did a good job getting the truck loaded although their inexperience in properly handling and wrapping furniture was OBVIOUS. None the less, they worked hard and diligently. When they got to my house to deliver, one started unloading while the other handled the paperwork. He informed me (as he did in the morning for the first time), that they charge 10% if I use a credit card. I told him in the morning and again in the afternoon, I had not been told that. As a business person myself, I assumed there would be no problem when I explained that to the owner. (I had asked for paperwork at the time of the reservation and it was an email confirming time and price: "Good afternoon Susan. This is Rob with the perfect move. The details for your move are 79$ per hour portal to portal with a one time feul and mileage fee of 150. We will dispatch our moving truck about 830 and complete the load and unload thesame day barring any acts of God." That is the cut and paste of his email. As I was telling them that I would pay by check since I could not use a credit card, the owner made them stop unloading my things unless I gave them a credit card with the 10% surcharge or went to and ATM or a bank (of course today is a bank holiday). The owner kept calling the kid and telling him things but would not call me so I had to keep calling the owner back. Rob, the person (above) who took my deposit by credit card without a mention of a surcharge apologized for forgetting to tell me and the owner still refused to allow the truck to be emptied any further. Since he was holding my belongings hostage, I gave the kid my credit card which he had to call in. The owner then said we would have to wait until he could go back to the office to take my credit card which delayed up by 45 minutes….REALLY ASAP Movers????? And what is that ASAP movers about…what really is their name? DON"T GIVE THEM ANY BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT DESERVE IT. I do feel sorry for their employees. The owner is a bully.
