Use the extra money for additional classes when you graduate. If your into color find a salon that has a apprenticeship program and Assist, Assist, Assist as much as possible. It doesn’t matter what school you go to what matters most is the work you put in. Most salons turn down Paul Mitchell grads because they only know one technique. Recently the system in the school was badly damaged due the flood. AC was not working in the school for days. We was forced to wash the clients hair with cold water. Guests and students were complaining about the heat. Pregnant students were forced to work in that type of conditions and you think they had any type of sympathy, NO. Everyone was forced to work, sweating in that heat, one pregnant student almost fainted due to the conditions of the school. We’re literally working in a sweat shop. All they care about is money, they always preach about being a family. But that’s not how you treat family. They will pull you out of class to work on guests if they overbooked. If your not kissing their *** your out of luck. Get used to working on clients with no help. You thought the students are catty wait till you meet the staff. All they do is gossip about the students. You have the principle whose going through a midlife crisis and always complaining. You have this one lady Dennis whose totally fake and will smile in your face all day long and talk *** behind your back. All the students hate her and her coworkers can’t stand her. The tool kit that we paid 2k for is constantly getting broken. Corporate definitely will be hearing from me very soon.
