Pathetic after sales support in India

Toll-free number of Black+Decker service center have been changed over a year back, however the same have neither been updated on the websites nor on warranty cards. There are scores of customers who are unable to log their complaints as the same is not available. Besides this, with great difficulty was able to find out the new number and lodged a complaint about my steam iron on June 30 (complaint # 182****). Was informed that the complaint would be attended to within 2 days. Had requested for an early resolution as it had already taken me 4 days to locate the new number, however the complaint still remains unattended even after 5 days of repeated reminders/ follow-ups with customer service and the local service technician.
