Using the manual pasta maker for the last 6 months. Developed a problem with the rollers not engaging and creating a wavey sheet of noodles. Dismantled the unit and found the retaining ring on the adjustable roller had slipped and was causing the gear to wobble under tension. Replaced both of the original cheap aluminum retaining clips with proper retaining clips, (see attached photo) added some food safe lubricant to prevent rust and will see how it goes... User's recommendation: So, for the price this is a near disposable item. Don't be surprised if you purchase cheap that you get cheap. Will limp this along until I can invest in a proper ,manual pasta maker. Any suggestions???
