Parking Complaint

Parking Complaint On 21st May 2021 I went to do my shopping at Tesco Hackney morning lane as I do every week I went into the parking at 07.27 and left at 09.43. While every other week I am able to do my shopping within an hour, on this day my shopping took longer because the shop was busy and also I had to do a big grocery shopping worth £418.72 I was then surprised and disgusted to receive a parking charge notice HP085467 for £70.00 from Horizon Parking I visited the shop on 4/6/21 at around 5 pm to complaint about the ticket and have it cancelled but the manager on duty was dismissive telling me I could do my shopping elsewhere if I was unhappy. I found this extremely insensitive considering I spend over £6000.00 each month in this store shopping for my residential home Is this how Tesco is supposed to treat its customers? Can anyone from Tesco tell me why I should continue shopping at Tesco having been treated this way. How many other customers have suffered this kind of treatment? It is an understatement to say how disappointed I am Nelson Gudza User's recommendation: Do not shop at any Tesco which has subcontracted parking to another provider. In May on 21st 2021 I shopped at Tesco Morning Lane spending more than £400 on groceries for a care home. I exceeded the parking time allowance by 30 minutes before of the amount of shopping I did. I then received a parking charge notice for £70.00 from Horizon. I complained to Tesco Hackney and was dismissed that it was my fault I had exceeded the time allowed. I wrote to their customer service and was advised to contact the Horizon who does not even have a contact number on their parking charge notice nor do they have an appeal process published. I regularly spend more than £6000 per month in this store and am extremely pissed off that they could not have the ticket cancelled dispite proof of the grocery purchase. I am completely disgusted and will never buy in Tesco again.
