Overcharge from hotel

I had paid $72 and was told it was extra $20. The reason I picked the hotel was because of the price. I work hard and with covid I was happy I got this price but so upset that they charged and extra $20 that I could of used towards dinner. I use hotels .com alott qnd um ver y disappointed Thank you Margaret Deborah Doyle
