Order never shipped, no tracking number

order # 28538**** Gift for my wife, a surprise gift, has become a total joke. I never have even received a tracking number so I at least know it was shipped. Doesn't Saks carry any weight with it's suppliers ? Tracking number would at least let me know it was shipped, am I asking for to much information ?
