Order never received – only received excuses, then no response to my further enquiry

I placed and paid for my order, with NinjApparel, around July/or early August 2018 and still have never received my order, nor a notification advising me whether my order had been shipped. This company is a scam business and has ripped off many people, by the looks of their many bad reviews, and my personal experience. I had never received a proper receipt for my order. I only received an email, on 7th August 2018, acknowledging that my order had been placed and thanking me for my purchase. I did also receive a separate email, with an order number, which I had taken a screenshot of and had sent along with my email enquiries to them, when questioning where my order was. But this order number did not hold the same value as a receipt. That was an early sign of a scam. In early September I sent an email to customerservice@***l, enquiring about why I had not received my order or any notification of it’s whereabouts. I received a generic looking reply, with the excuse reading: “...Thanks for contacting me! Please accept my sincerest apology for not contacting you sooner! Your order has been processed on our side, and is currently at dispatch at the shipping facilities. We have been notified that the post office is experiencing a backlog of orders which is the reason for the delay in dispatch times. I sincerely apologize for the delay and the inconvenience caused by this situation. As soon as your order has been shipped we will notify you. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding on the matter. Stay Stealthy Sith Lord NinjApparel Customer Support“ This was the last email I have received from them, even though I have sent two emails to NinjAparell since then (in May 2019). Initially I asked (for the first time since receiving the excuse reply from them) about my order’s whereabouts and advised that I demanded a full refund or I would be taking legal action, as it had been about seven months of waiting since having paid for my order, at this point. After not getting a response within the following five business days, I sent another email advising that I will be taking legal action. I still have not received a reply. Because of this and the other reviews I have read, detailing many accounts of awful experiences for many consumers, I will be taking legal action against NinjApparell.
