We have been to Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis many times and been happy with the results. Yesterday was a different story. Brooke had her hair highlighted and by the time she got home everything that had been highlighted began breaking off in chunks. She had to get her long hair cut up past her shoulders because the bottom was so thin and had big chunks missing. All I want is a refund of the $60 she paid. They refuse to give the refund. “You signed a waiver, this is a school,we have never given a refund in the 10 years we’ve been open. We can deep condition her hair”...THERE IS NOTHING TO DEEP CONDITION IT ALL BROKE OFF! I understand it is a school but the student should have been supervised more closely. I understand the risk you take at a school is that Sometimes the cut is not exactly what you want or the color is different than what you thought you were getting but to damage it so severely is not a risk anyone would want to take. So on top of what she paid to get her hair “highlighted” she had to pay for a cut elsewhere. It’s hair and will grow but it is just not right that they won’t give her money back. I am not upset with the student at all, its not her fault. I am not even upset about the hair as much as not giving her money back. She certainly didn’t get what she paid for. On the bright side, at least she isn’t getting married today and she wasn’t getting her hair done for anything important!
