I recently bought a 16oz Oscar Mayer package of Thick Cut bacon and had these problems: - I tried to open it from the top by following the instructions, but it was not only difficult, it was IMPOSSIBLE to open it, so I had to cut it with scissors. - When I opened it the slices were not only thin cut, but EXTRA THIN and almost impossible to remove the slices one by one. - The package had this code: 447** ***** *, if it will help you in any way. - I guess it was a quality control problem, but is frustrating to buy one thing and get something else. User's recommendation: Inspect the product and make sure it is the right on you intended to purchase.
