I always have bragged about Ameristar in Blackhawk Co but this visit was horrible. I live on western slope about 5 hr drive to casino. I talked my sister into going with me we were excited. When we went to room couldn't believe it the room had not been cleaned sheets were not even changed. We called management and they offered another room but after hauling luggage and driving so long did not want to move to another room. They did give me a credit of 50.00 for food and drink. The buffet was almost 50.00 for 2 people. Outrageous price for a buffet. I have been trying to use my free comp rooms for months but everytime they didn't have any. I just wish they would have comped my room this time but didn't even offer. It was on Thursday July 6 so I am sure they could have. Even after they came and cleaned room the cosmetic mirror did not work. So disappointed the room was 163.00 for 1 night have been there many times and spent a ton of money and did not win even 20.00. My sister said she will never go back, I will but I hope management gets this review for future visits. They should have done for me since I have been a loyal customer for so long my sister took pictures of the room and has them on her cell phone. Hope they take better care of me the next time.
