After undergoing heart surgery and surgical complications that led me to forever have a physical disability I chose to go to Katharine Gibbs in 2007. I chose Katherine Gibbs as my source to regain my Independence in life with an associate's degree in fashion design and merchandise. I was one of the graduates in the last class before the school closed it's doors in NYC. They handed us a diploma that specifically states it is an associate's degree yet it is not acceptable anywhere for employment or to move forward in obtaining a bachelor's degree as the school was not an accredited school. We were all lied to and/or the institution and it's staff were trained to hide the truth from us. This is very unfair considering the amount of money we as students now owe. Please if anyone knows of lawsuit(s) against them please let me know I am willing to participate.
