We have supported the Sequim WA store for many years. We recently went in to shop and there was a customer with no mask. When asked about the policy I was informed that they recommend but do not enforce the mask mandate. This policy puts all customers and staff at risk. Those who chose not to wear masks will say, if you do not like it, dont shop there...unfortunately that is exactly what I will be doing-no longer shopping there. I have been to other Petcos who do follow the mandate. The Sequim store obviously does not care about the health and safety of their customers and staff and that lack of concern is something I cannot and will not support. I will be contacting friends and family to follow suit. User's recommendation: Go to a different store where the mask mandate is followed.
