Not allowing an order still in process to be cancelled

After confirming an order yesterday (June 21) (Order Number: EBG35121845), I was surprised not to see an expected delivery date. As I wasn't planning to be at the proposed address beyond the weekend, I immediately contacted customer service and tried to cancel. It appears that you cannot cancel orders, even those that haven't been processed yet, and customer service (via chat) could only suggest that I contact UPS to return the product once it goes out, and only then can I consider getting a refund. I would caution anyone considering a purchase from eBags -- their customer service and unwillingness to deal with a cancellation *before they'd even processed the order* is mystifying.
