Non-Payment for Device Trade-in

1

I went through Flipsy when I needed to sell my iPhone 8. They recommended a company called Nerdzy and I went through the process to sell the phone to them for $186 on 11/12/2020. I received an email confirmation, order number, and shipping label to ship the phone in via USPS. The USPS shows that my phone was delivered on 11/19/2020. At that point I stopped receiving all communication from Nerdzy. I contacted Flipsy on 12/7/2020 and was informed that they were aware of the issue with Nerdzy and that I was not the only customer that was taken advantage of. Flipsy asked me to submit some other complaints and that they hoped a resolution would become available. It is now 1/20/2021 and I have not received any type of resolution from Flipsy, and my last email to them over a week ago has gone unanswered. I would like Flipsy to pay me the $186 that I was quoted since they were the ones to recommend Nerdzy. Flipsy should be held accountable for recommending a company that was basically operating a scam. Until this is resolved there is no way that I could even recommend Flipsy to anyone else. User's recommendation: Do not use Flipsy.
