They promised a somewhat deacent pay for a huge project of translation, although lower rates than what they would normally offer, supposedly what the client wanted. – Had to make Nardina negotiate both the deadline and rate, before confirming, that I would translate this huge file, onlly all the situations they have with the client, they are fictional. I made partial deliveries and invoices at the same time, whilst Nardina assured med that the invoices would be taken care of. They told me this was a bad client, who did not have the intention of paying, which is why they could not pay me for a translation-project that contains nearly 75.000 words. – Nardina wrote to the client, and it seemed rather unlikely as she explained how the client now had decided the terms of payment. Many lies were told. I contacted this ”bad” client and she was so kind to send me the proof of their downpayment, which had been paid last on the day I delievered my last invoice and final partial delivery. The same day Peter finally responded, after Nardina stopped responding, wrote me: ”Dear Sir, we did not forget about you. I am chasing this client for payment and hopefully she will make it by Monday of next week. Nardina is not in the office till next Monday she is on leave with her mom. Hope all is well and sorry for the delay here. No early payment will be made other than it was agreed before.” I wrote them, I had found out that this ”bad client” already had paid and I even had and still have the receipt of the transactions with dates and details, as proof of that I had been lied to by the owners of the company, who asked me to translate. They have a history of not paying their workers, even their longtime workers were in the end not paid, where Nardina completely stopped responding. Not untill one starts to bring up issues like legal assistance and so on, where Peter Rudolph steps in. It was only when I told them that I had been talking to an attorney, that they were able to send me the half of what they promised me and since lied yet another one more time, postponing the payment and stop responding after that. They also like to threaten with attorneys for posting trash on the web. Last time I checked this ”trash” is the truth and the truth shall prevail.
