Non Delivery of Flowers and Birthday Cake

TOTALLY PATHETIC SERVICE FROM NETFLORIST Good Morning I am totally disappointed with the service received from Netflorist . I had an order (flowers & a cake) for delivery to my wife for her birthday yesterday. - 26 May 2021 The delivery was due to be sent to her workplace which was unfortunately closed due to a positive case of Covid 19. I called Netflorist at 08:20 to make alternate arrangements but was informed that the order was already out and that they could not get hold of the driver. I informed the person that I could meet the driver outside the delivery address or any other place in Pretoria to collect the items but I was told that this would not be possible as the driver was using an APP and they cannot get hold of him. I was also informed that the delivery could be recalled and that they will then deliver to my home at or before 7pm which I found unacceptable due to the lateness. During such a time as the Pandemic I would have thought that a reputable company like Netflorist would put measures in place to assist customers but sadly this is not the case. I was also informed that if I cancel the order, I will be charged for handling & collection fees . Yesterday we were informed that delivery will take place before 7pm but sadly this did not materialize and up until now 28 May 9am, no delivery has been done. I had to apologize to wife profusely but she was very sad as her birthday had passed without her receiving the flowers and birthday cake. Even though I had sent them an email yesterday morning, they did not attempt to sort out the matter. This situation has left an unsavory taste in my mouth and I will never again be using Net-florist again as their service is totally pathetic.
