No Seller Protection

I sold a genuine item .. the buyer than complaint it was damaged and i can prove it wasn't damaged from the pics i sent .. however to try and avoid hassle i agreed on a partial refund. The buyer then clicked refund however there was no option for a partial refund and vinted refunded the full amount £320 .. now i'm emailing them to get them to sort and they have literally said to me send your bank details to the buyer and get them to pay otherwise it's out of our hands. There was no evidence asked from me as a seller i have the whole conversation between seller and buyer to prove the seller is not in the wrong yet without even asking what has happened they have refunded the buyer the full amount. So now i am out of pocket and out of item.
