No satisfying with machine

I received the replacement for the first cafe barista but the replacement is no different. I specifically bought this for the cappuccino and lattes. When I press for either of them I have to keep processing continually till it changes fir a single cup. This is ridiculous with this machine . $179.00 on sale gone down the drain . No good. Can you guys do something ?
