No Payments Due Paid After Claim Renewal

I haven't received a payment in five payment cycles. Within that time, I had to file a new claim, because mine expired. I have received the renewed notification for that. A claim form was sent with the award letter. I manage my claim online, so it really is just a matter of them putting the money in my existing account! A big problem is that whoever designed the EDD website doesn't understand what, "Check Claim Status" actually means! When, you call the number provided it only provides information about payments you've already received! Which, is not the same as status of payments pending. Which, is the information people can't find on the website, and is most important. There is also a link to "Call EDD", if you haven't received payment after 10 days of certification has passed. It goes to a page that cannot be found! Too bad, California pays even incompetent people who run government departments like this so handsomely. They have no idea what it is like to rely on them for something so essential! Why, hasn't Gavin Newsom sent in people to take over this department who has a sense of urgency? Because, he's all hair no cattle!
