No good service. Need 9000kw ring kit at 550 hours.

Generac's service is out of control. They send me offers bi- monthly for extended service yet they can't even do warranty service. Generac does not know how dealers perform. The dealer, Lenz, tech I used to adjust valves, required after first 25 hours, left loose nut and washer that stuck on ignition magneto so generator wouldn't start. Tech overheated and burned out starter. Took 4 months to replace and tried to charge me $1400 but it was still on warranty and his fault. Dealer has had 100% turnover in techs last 2 years. Tech has never shown up on day promised or called to say not coming. Bummer to have to chase dealer who doesn't know what doing. Generac generators are not reliable or durable. Generac says generators good for 3000 hours. Mine lasted 550 hours and I religiously changed oil and filters ever 100 hours. Bogus. In sum, I haven't had use of my Generac backup power generator for almost a year and have wasted my money and an unbelievable amount of time and brain damage. I am having to cut my losses on Generac and buy a new Onan. Generac is NOT as advertised on reliability or service and their dealer model is not working as no feedback on dealer performance. Problem is systemic and transfering to a manager for help is just a repeat of hearing same things. User's recommendation: Avoid Generac at all cost or suffer endless problems.
