On August 31, 2020 I purchased 2 Etihad roundtrip tickets to Abu Dhabi on Expedia since the Etihad website had been and still was down and it was the last day to purchase no change fee tickets at the time. Our confirmation Number was TVXELI. My daughter had checked with the US Embassy in the UAE and they told us we could get a visa on arrival. When we arrived in Chicago on American Airlines, we were told we could not fly into Abu Dhabi and the supervisor told us we would have to take another airline the rest of the way into Dubai at our additional expense. Our Etihad roundtrip ticket was changed a few times due to your changes or our extended stay. We did use our return Etihad ticket on February 27, 2021, but were told we could not receive a credit for the remaining part of our outbound flight. I called many times. All airlines give credits for unused ticket portions. I would like a credit for 2 persons for Flight # 150 from Chicago to Abu Dhabi on October 25, 2020. I would have written sooner, (although I spoke to agents many times while in Abu Dhabi), but I have been ill. I hope you ca resolve this issue so I do not have to take this matter any further and continue to fight. Please advise me if you need itinerary or boarding passes.
