I went to an auction from LAURO AUCTIONEERS located at 1224 NE 7th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304 and after register and wait for the auction to start, they said that they have pre-bids on what they sell. First I got surprised only we were 8 people register there for a mint to brand new Equipment restaurant auction, I really thought i was goint to win everything. Let me also say that I've been in maybe 20-30 restaurant auctions and I know for what equipment get sold, this guys wants amateurs or just restaurant owners that don't really know about what an auction is to bid on what I call reserved price, they call "pre online bids". For example, a 2 door True Fridge in mint or new condition may get $300-1000, this guys says $2000, and EVERYTHING was like that. I was really laughing in the show that they did, even spatulas at $5? It normally gets $0.25-$2. If you are looking to buy something from LAURO AUCTIONEERS, you better be prepared to spend a retail price on the equipment and enjoy the show!
