No answer to phone calls, unable to cancel a backorder

All I want to do is cancel a backorder. This used to be a piece of cake. Now no one answers the phone no matter how many hours I wait (while doing something constructive). They just don't answer at ANY time of the day or night. Entering "cancel backorder" in their "search" results in site behavior which looks as if their website is down too, as well as their telephone service. But that sounds like I'm excusing this. No way. User's recommendation: Just understand that you may have one devil of a time with this company.
