New washer breaks down after 5 months – no parts…

I bought a new Maytag washer - Model #MVW6200KW - in January. By June it was in the repair shop, supposedly to be fixed under warranty. I paid a premium, believing the hype about the Maytag reliability. After 24 days, I'm told there are no parts in North America - they have to await shipment from overseas (China, Korea, etc) as they only assemble the machines in North America. User's recommendation: Do NOT buy Maytag products...
