New phone to attach to phone number

When I purchased my phone I was told that I could keep my same #, but that didn't happen. When I called back I had to pay 20.00 in order to send for another sim card. I am waiting for my card in the mail. I should not have to pay for two phone numbers. For me to be a new customer I was very disappointed. User's recommendation: Please ask me that question another time. This is not a good time.
