Hi, Nelnet is not allowing you to pay your student loan online until 4 days before the loan is due. Typically I schedule my student loan payment on the second or third day of each month. My due date is the 14th of each month. When I went to schedule my loan payment today, December 8, 2018, for my January of 2019 payment, their website will only allow me to schedule my payment on the 10th of January 2019. The due date for my loan is 14 January 2019. I have had to contact Nelnet numerous times about their being late in taking my payment from my checking account. If you schedule your payment and if they do not take it, they say it is your fault and jack up your interest rate. Now, they are making it harder to pay your bill online. I have contacted Domina Law Group LLC who have sued Nelnet several times.
