User of TaoBao & Aplipay please beware of your account security with them!!! I have been using my usual ID for my TaoBao, AliPay for many years. It has also been linked with my usual email and mobile. On 30Apr night I was not able to log in my TaoBao acc (I was able to do so in the afternoon). It says password wrong. Email and mobile registered have also changed to s*****@163.com and mobile 139*****23. When I try my Alipay acc, it has also been changed. When I call in on Mon, they will look into it but still no reply after 3 days. I call again today. Customer service just simply tell me that I cannot verify myself in accordance to TaoBao standard procedure. I told them of course I cannot verify as it has been hacked where all my passwords, email, mobile has been changed! The only solution is to register a new acc and I lost this ID permanently. I think now is the issue of my trust with Taobao and Alipay. The way that the system in place to verify one's acc is questionable for foreigner. When there is issue, there were no interest to further verify the root of the issue. Simply push the customer to register a new acc, where the same issue would happen again! I can show proof of my many past transactions that I had asked my friend to pay on my behalf. All these transaction were paid for acc under my mobile. You can call my friend to verify. If she has been paying for so long, for so much amount, for so many times, she would of course know she is paying for who and would be able to verify. I cannot understand why Alipay says that they are not able to trace any record of my account transaction under my mobile in the past. There is a serious security fault that it should be looked into to resolve. This is not a simple answer of open a new TaoBao and link it to Alipay then you can resume your purchasing. I do not feel secure as a consumer to transact with TaoBao & Alipay I am considering to report to MAS, Monetary Security of Singapore, on this security loop hole.Use I hope to hear from you soonest!
