My rc car

Hello i got the a969 about 3 years ago and as it is advertised on the packege that it is water proof. So i decided to drive it in the snow but after i had driven two batteries eampty i took it inside to dry and charge the batteries but the next time i tried to drive it it wold not turn on so if i could get some compensation i would be very happy
