My Cable TV equipment and programming was upgraded without my permission

I called to complain about service interruptions and Verizon upgraded my equipment and account without my consent. My bill has increased and i have been charged an upgrade charge. I called and IM them and was promised a credit that i have not received. I have had it with Verizon's very substandard practices and third world customer service. User's recommendation: Read your account each month even if its on line and not mailed.
