Legal Affiliates Group charged me $2500 to get into their loan modification program and assured me that they would get Bank of America to lower my mortgage in half. I signed on with them in July of 2012, and have not heard from them since. They told me that because of the many applications for loan modification that were submitted before mine, that it would take a little while before I would hear something from them. Over a year has passed and I have not heard from them yet. It seems that the government should step in and help all of us who have been taken advantage of during our hardships to keep our homes.
