I bought a pair of $300 boots online. I have a $5 birthday gift card that I could not use on the site. I tried it several times. I sent a nice email explaining the situation. The response I got back was unbelievably rude. The person I had to deal with is going by the name Katelyn. She told me she had no problems getting the e gift card to go through but I could use it on my next purchase. She also said I might have entered the numbers in incorrectly. I mean geez, does she think I like to sit around and send emails like this for fun? There was no, “I apologize this didn’t work” or anything nice from her. I sent a message back asking why couldn’t she adjust the price and she told me she couldn’t. I told her the price on other things have been adjusted. I wish someone above her could read her messages and hear her on the phone. This person obviously hates her job. Miss Katelyn is a hateful person who could care less about the customer. If I was over her she would immediately be reprimanded for her nasty behavior. I even called after this happened and got this person. This makes me want to take these boots back when they arrive and get them elsewhere. Obviously my order is not important. I think I might cut up my credit card for this store and shop elsewhere.
