Moni, or Monitronics, refuses to cancel service. They say they cannot, and that you will have to speak someone else, then dump you back into the cue. When you get to the "retention specialist" after 20 minutes of listening to their ads on hold, that person tries to talk into staying. If they cannot, they say they can't cancel you and that you need to speak to "Cancellation service". Then they put you into the cue- but you discover it is the cue for the initial call and you go around again. Over five phone calls where I pleaded and requested they cancel the service- they did not. And- they have a mandatory ACH transfer from your bank account- so they can just keep pulling your money. I had to pay my bank to stop the ACH transfer. I had to file a BBB complaint because they would just not stop the service. Moni is a dishonest company. Avoid them at all costs or will regret it.
