Misuse of my personal property and customer care neglect

Update by user Aug 01, 2018 As a resolution proposal related to the aforementioned facts, I have asked that Edge Edge Performance Sports pay for personal mileage and fuel, as well as costs related to renting a comparable ATV like my 2015 Can-Am Outlander 650 Max DPS 650 for a sum of $3440.38. Original review posted by user Jul 31, 2018 I left my 2015 Can-Am Oulander XT MAX 650 ATV in the care of Edge Performance Sports for consignment. While in their care, my ATV was ridden 110 miles without my permission and had damage done to the undercarriage. In addition, they neglected to provide me with adequate, relevant, and complete information regarding the processes involved in the sale of my ATV. They recorded and presented to potential buyers inaccurate details about the specification of my ATV. I also need to mention their disreputable representation regarding listing and selling, retail and consignment costs and pricing: My ATV was not listed on their website during this time and they delayed getting it onto the lot for display for 10 days. I was given conflicting retail and listing prices, and consignment costs by various employees – both verbally and in writing. I expressed my disappointment in their service and was asked what I would be willing to accept to resolve this particular issue. I quoted the dollar amount that they assured me would be my return after commission - I was denied that amount. I was told by the owner that Edge would pay off my loan, however the amount he was willing to pay was not the amount of my payoff. He stated that I would be responsible for the remaining balance. I informed them that I would be picking up my ATV because I was very unhappy with the way they were conducting this business transaction. This is when I found out that my machine was driven 110 miles. I sent a resolution (2nd) proposal to the owner, General Manager, Financial Manager, and salesperson asking that Edge pay for my personal mileage and fuel as well as costs related to renting a comparable ATV for the miles it was driven while in their possession. They did not response by the date I requested so I sent a followup email to inform them of my decision to take further action. Again, they did not respond. I am outraged by the unacceptable and irresponsible actions exhibited by the business and its employees. As a trusting customer and female, I am disgraced by the unprofessional treatment I received. I am extremely disturbed by the greeting I received on my initial visit: the managerial employee displayed rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and inconsiderate behavior toward me during our conversation - on my second visit, he ignored my presence entirely. Edge employees neglected to perform these ethical duties and their legal responsibilities during the time that my ATV was in their possession. I will never recommend there services!
