Medicalfinancing.com offered me a loan through Montery financial bank and backed out 2 days prior to surgery date

This company put me through "***" when I was approved for a surgery loan trying to borrow 5000.00. The customer service agent Alex phone #818-925-2757 set me up and approved for what he said was a cash loan through Montery Financial Bank. The monthly payment was to be 179.73 and was easily doable. It was a done deal but after all the credit bureau checks,a set surgery date, time off work for me and so on, this company started changing their story. Part of this was done behind my back but the loan which was supposed to be cash was changed with the Doctors office to be paid directly to them and at a $1000.00 extra cost. He claimed that the Doctor was going to be charged for the loan on their end too so EXTRA COST. Not at all what they told me at first or I would not have gone along with this. Then Alex and his supervisor got on the phone right before this surgery and canceled this loan based on some false report that his suddenly came up with. Monterey Financial had already sent me the payment coupons and I really was getting mad about Medicalfinancing.com constantly calling me on the phone with more added charges more verification, and just a bunch of unnecessary inconveniences. I had read several complaints out there about this business but thought the way they made it sound I would be OK. I paid out of pocket for blood work, ekg and other tests. When the loan was canceled at the last minute I had to forfeit those charges, time off work, put through a lot of stress, hired a caregiver and so on. This was an outrage!! Deceptive enrollment practices, downright lies to me about extra charges to Doctors office, and just plan WRONG ON THEIR PART. It seems that they put me out their with other banks and loans companies and I am not not able to get anything told unknown reasons that I never had before. My credit score is above average too.
