My whole experience with LTT Gourmet Foods is a HORROR STORY. My husband was talked into buying one of their freezers (at the tune of $2600, and when they delivered it, it doesn't even fit where my other fridge sat. It is now sitting a foot or more out from the wall so the door next to it will open. As for the food, I am not impressed at all. All the packaging leaks when you thaw it in warm water. After thawing the chicken, the water is slimy, so you know that the packaging was NOT airtight. The one pound packages of ground beef have visible holes in almost every one I recieved. I also tried to compare prices with the prices I pay elsewhere and they wouldn't give me a staight answer. They said it goes on a points system, and we spent about 30-45 minutes going round and round but I never got an acceptable answer. So far, the steaks we have tried are tough and have no flavor. 3 months now since we ordered and I am still waiting for the completion of our order. They say that they aren't going to spend $60 to bring out the rest of my order. That they are waiting for more deliveries in my area. That is pretty bad that they haven't had a sale in my area in over 3 months. Another thing, when the salesman was at my home, he presured me into giving them 10 names w/phone numbers so they could call them. I asked the salesman to give me 24 hours so I could talk to them personally before LTT called them, and he said fine. I found out the next day that LTT called everyone on my list first thing in the morning, before I could even say anything to anyone of them. Some of the people were now mad at me for giving out their name and number. I would NEVER recommend this company to any of my friends or family now. I would recommend that YOU stay far away from them.
