Few days ago Engine light came on my 2016 Jetta TSI 1.4 turbo model purchased brand new with 97000 miles now. I used a code scanner it gave a P0304 code which shows cylinder 4 misfire,took the car to the dealer after diagnostics they said all 4 cylinders misfired ,they ran a software update and rechecked dashboard code went away.Cost $316 for software update at Leith VW of Cary.I asked Dealer why the engine light came on they gave me vague answer about carbon buildup due to fuel or maybe oil ,the car has always been serviced by VW dealer.I asked if car needed higher grade fuel such as premium or plus they said no.I called VW customer service no help because car out of warranty User's recommendation: Don't buy VW vehicles company does not care about its brand name or the customer.
