Look out for this parking lot scam!

I was approach in a shopping mall parking lot by a couple of "home audio installation techs" who happened to have a an xtra set of tower speakers from a job. So, in an effort to put cash in their pocket, they thought they would try to sell them off at a discount to a *** (me). Of course this has scam all over it, but what sold me is they had an audiphile magazine that had a legit looking ad in it with the same model speakers they were selling. And the msrp was $1,000!!! I ended up paying them $250 bucks for the pair of speakers, thinking I just saved $750!!! I guess I was naive and thought he actually was trying to hook me and him up. What sold me was the legit looking mag ad. The brand is KIRSCH and they look expensive, but they are not the real deal. The speakers actually work and all, but not audiophile quality as advertised. Look out for this if you're schmuckable like me!!! LOL
