I bought 4 pair of glasses from Hakim in Kitchener approx 1400.00 1 pair broke twice during the 1 year 1 time warranty they were repaired but now the warranty has run out I am afraid to wear them they are cheaply made very flimsy material . 16 months later my second pair the rubber nose grip keeps falling off went back to the store to see if a replacement was available they said no I would need to buy new frames , they said I should glue it on ! Today that same pair of glasses the frame cracked and the lens fell out . My wifes glasses purchased at the same time the arm screw fell out and the arm was repaired at no charge , her other pair the arm fell out of the frame and cant be repaired. My experience with the optician at the Kitchener store was terrible she rushed my wife and I through the eye exam was very hard to understand and I still dont think I have the right prescription as I can see just as well with my old glasses and she said my prescription had changed . I told the girl at the store when I got my glasses that I could see better with wall mart readers she said she couldnt do much . I definitely wont be going back to Hakim this is the second time we have bought glasses there they are cheap made junk all have broken once the warranty ran out .
